Actually
you have some concepts about the structure of our body. It has its
own program, whether we want it or not. You have to acknowledge that
it is a creature of routine. It used to do the same movements, consume
the same food and it has approximately the same weight. Its tissues
consist of water, protein, fats, mineral salts and carbohydrates.
Say your weight is 70 kg, then your body has got 40-45 kg of water,
16-17 kg of proteins, 7-10 kg of fats, 2,5-3 kg of mineral salts
and 0,5-0,8 kg of carbohydrates. This process is called assimilation.
However you should know that our organism is constantly on the way
of some changes. Simultaneously a kind of distraction is happening
in it. This is dissimilation. Both processes are interconnected.
This is called metabolism. |
